Zac–just because you’re tall, doesn’t mean you’re good at basketball…almost didn’t recognize him…think others are correct, he did loose weight….or without the beard, looks thinner although I think he lost weight. Must be from riding his bike around the lot instead of the golf cart. Plus added bonus…without the beard hiding the terrific smile, he so much better………..
Kat, I think he did o.k. The video didn’t show if he made the shot or not. Maybe he looks buff with a muscle shirt on. I know they dress him in the show on purpose to make him look out of shape. And yes! I’m glad the beard was just for the first episode of season 3.
Eowyn–all I’m saying is those pro players live & breath bball. I have a family member that played soccar since he could walk. He even went overseas with a team. He was semi-pro. (he’s just a little younger than Zac) The energy Zac put into acting, the bball players put into their game. Zac isn’t expected to compete on their level. I applaud his effort to stay active to spite his long hours of work. He just doesn’t have the time at present to practice to their level.

I can’t believe I’m hopping on this “girlie” thread, but the voice of reason (and maleness) needs to prevail. Sorry, ladies – but Zach’s beard ROCKED!!! Hopefully it will at least appear in part of the first episode of Season 3 (at least it was hinted that it would). Now, about Yvonne……..

Rick, the first episode is called “Versus the Pink Slip” which is very telling. Guys grow beards when they have nothing else (like a job or a girlfriend) to look forward to. It underscores “loser” more than an L on the forehead.

Ummm, now I’m embarassed. After posting to Rick I walked into my living room and looked at a beautiful picture of my wedding day and guess what? My husband (who by the way is a computer wiz) had a very cool, neatly trimmed beard on his face. Oops! You forget a lot after 16 years. Apologies to all the bearded men out there.
Y do they need to dress him to look out of shape … remember what an un-geeky bod Ugly Betty’s Henry had? Now this would really be the Revenge of the Geeks!!
