What do you do if all-around prince-among-men Zachary Levi shows up at your office unannounced just to say hello? If you’re me, you slap some powder on his face, throw a camera in front of him, and then grill him for exclusive scoop about Chuck’s third season. And then as a thank you, you hook him and a friend up with house seats to South Pacific and let him have one of your 2009 Smurfs (he picked the cameraman).

That’s interesting! There’re some new details, though rather restrained revealing takes place, which I approve… 8-)

Great Interview! The “Nick C. Blog” which you can find easily via link at http://www.tvbythenumbers.com – reports that Sarah (and possibly others) WILL be employed at Subway. Fine by me. Without the Subway sponsorship, there wouldn’t be a Season 3 of CHUCK. So give Subway all the lovin’ they deserve – and don’t anybody start griping about Sarah working as a “Sandwich Designer.” Bring on the Subway!!!

    Love him. The end.

Having Sarah work at Subway would be great. They should treat Subway the same as Orange Orange and Weinerlicious – have it as their secret hideout. Then maybe Morgan gets a job at the same Subway (since he quit BuyMore) and puts the whole operation in jeopardy? Hmmmm..

Zac made a good point. I was a little iffy about having Sarah work at a Subway just because Subway is a busy place and it would be difficult for Sarah to run off on missions and stuff in the middle of the work day. But after seeing the interview, it would be better if Subway were represented in a way where the writers don’t have to constantly fit it into the script every other episode.

It will be interesting to see how things work out if Morgan or somebody else ends up working at a Subway with Sarah. I think it would make for good comedy. So many things to ponder, and still such a long wait…..”sigh* guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but I’m really not worried. We had such a great Season 2, I’m sure they’ll make the right decisions for S3.

They seemed to have no problem “splitting in the middle of the work day” from both the Buy More and Orange Orange, so the Subway shouldn’t be a problem either. It is, after all, a TV show – and it doesn’t have to work like the real world!!

I prefer the writers find creative ways to include the Subway product placement each week. To have Sarah simply work at a Subway seems lazy. I found it funny how the Subway sandwiches worked themselves into the episodes at the end of the season. Big Mike explaining to Morgan how the Subway sandwich was a perfect blend of different things coming together in harmony just like him and Morgan’s mom was hilarious. The placement could turn into a running gag. Sure its difficult, but that is what writers get paid for. The last thing I want to see is Sarah in a sandwich artist polo and visor. I don’t care how good looking you are that uniform just isn’t sexy.

I agree. A running gag could be fun. It could be like a game. Instead of Where’s Waldo, it could be Where’s Subway. LOL

I still think Subway is too busy for Sarah to just up and leave in the middle of the work shift. I kind of got the impression that the CIA bought the Weinerlicious and turned it into the Orange Orange. Remember at the beginning of season 2, Chuck said he missed the Weinerlicious and Sarah said her clothes smelled like grease or sausage or something and Chuck said “Say no more”. It was all discussed as if Sarah and the CIA had a choice in what the store would sell and what Sarah would wear. Plus, she no longer has a boss that she has to report to like she did in season 1. So I think the CIA bought it and built their underground “castle”. How could that work if it was a busy Subway?

Maybe they could just put a Subway in the strip mall and have the main characters walk by it every so often. And of course eat the occasional Subway sandwich. I think Morgan working there would be a better option than Sarah. He did say he wanted to be a chef, so maybe working at Subway is the best that our underachiever can do right now. And for the sake of the male viewers, I’d rather see Morgan in that Subway outfit than Sarah.

I think that Chuck should definately run into the summer like he said. There aren’t enough things to watch during the summer and I don’t understand why!
