Zach, you are just TOO AWESOME to be going to all of these different events directly or indirectly promoting CHUCK. If there was a merit badge for “going the extra mile,” you would get it! I just hope, hope, HOPE that your “bosses” at NBC will put you (& Yvonne, & Adam, etc., etc) on Leno, Conan, Fallon, etc. and even on Saturday Night Live!! A duo-hosting by you and Yvonne would be – I hate to use the word again, but it fits – AWESOME!!!!! Anyway, keep up the GREAT work. We’re going to continue doing everything WE can to promote the show!!
I have to echo Rick Holy! That is great. You are really putting yourself out there for the show and we appreciate it. Any fans on the board from California able to make the expo? Maybe some of the Chuck cards that were made could be passed out? I’m stuck in Kansas, so I’m afraid all I have to offer is ideas!
You know, I’m all about praising Zac for the good work he’s been doing for Chuck, but I don’t think attending E3 will be as much of a sacrifice as you think, Rick Holy. I mean, did you read the description of the event? You know Zac is going to have a blast (and he did go to E3 last year, as well). He still gets his “merit badge for going the extra mile,” but I’m glad he gets to go to E3 and have some fun

I understand what you’re saying, bro. I was just trying to point out that he’s doing an awful lot to promote the show which is very laudable. Sure, he’ll have fun at this one – he deserves it!! Now, if we could just get him to come to Chicago for something!!! (See my post below).
P.S. The last video games I ever played were Asteroids and Pac Man – when you still had to drop a quarter in the machine at the bowling alley. Dad giving us a buck so that we could play was a BIG DEAL back then. After that, the rest of the video games passed me by. Put one of those Nintendo, Play Station or Wii “joy sticks” (or whatever they call them today) in my hand and I’d have no idea what the heck to do with it! But MORE POWER to the folks who enjoy it!! – including Zach and you, too!!!
This is a Win Win situation for Zac! We all know in his real life he loves all this stuff anyway! Hey I’m sorry this expo is not in New York! I’d be there for sure as well. (Retired computer professional!)
I have a question that I hope someone can answer. It seems like all of these things like Comic-con, etc. take place out on the West Coast (L.A., etc) – and I understand that. But then I seem to remember seeing a Comic-con or something that had the CHUCK cast out in New York.
Sooooo…….. It seems like if you live on the West Coast or the East Coast, you have a chance of participating in these kinds of things. BUT WHAT ABOUT US (AND THERE ARE MORE OF US “IN THE MIDDLE” THAN ON THE COASTS) WHO LIVE IN MIDDLE AMERICA??
Are any of these kinds of event ever done in Chicago or any other major Midwest cities?? Maybe they are, and I’ve never noticed. But it just seems to me like if they can do these things in New York – which is about as far away from California as you can get and still be in the U.S., (and note, I have nothing against New York), then Chicago shouldn’t be out of the question.
If anyone can offer up an opinion, I’d be interested in hearing it. Last I checked, CHICAGO is STILL one of the “major markets” for TV or anything else for that matter – and with Superstation WGN, any coverage you get “in Chicago” would be broadcast to most cable systems throughout the U.S.
Thanks all! and PEACE!!

Perhaps it’s not “Kosher” to reply to one’s own post – but MAYBE, just MAYBE if cast members do some SUBWAY appearances before the beginning of Season 3, maybe they could include downtown CHICAGO on the list of places to go!! (Hint, Hint!)

Because if it comes to the concept of the USA, very often it touches only NY and LA. Nothing doing. The same situation is in Russia, for example. If anything happens, it happens only in Moscow and Saint Petersberg. Americans are even luckier as those russian major cities are situated hereabouts. All other of Russia just watch and sigh

Hey Rick, Don’t sigh too much remember Chicago has Oprah!

The only way you’d catch me at an OPRAH taping is if the cast of CHUCK was on it! (And actually, I wouldn’t even know how to find that out far enough in advance to get tickets). Nothing against OPRAH personally. She’s a good person who does many good, charitable things – and I wish her well, but I think I’d find an episode of the “Maury” show much more entertaining – i.e., “You ARE the Father!”
I’m still lobbying for a CHUCK cast-member appearance at a Chicago Subway! SOMEBODY from the show has to realize that we die-hard CHUCK fans exist in “Middle America!”

Chicago is much closer for me too…well 7 hours, but closer, LOL and I agree, Maury is much more entertaining…except for all the yelling

Michelle: Actually the “exaggerated crying” when the guy is NOT the father (and he’s like the TENTH different guy tested) is the best part. It’s like, “how many different people can one person sleep with??” Yeesh. I just feel sorry for the kids of the “parents” (and I use that term very loosely) that appear on Maury’s show. They deserve better. WAY better! Now “Chuck” and “Sarah.” THEY’D make great parents!!
