Nice video! Lets just hope there is more romance between Chuck and Sarah, and we don’t see their relationship go backwards again. Josh Schwarts gave a cryptic comment about Season 3 that suggested and wanted it to be interpreted that way by saying that having the new intersect in Chuck’s head would seriously complicate their relationship and yes maybe another love interest for one of them. While the love triangle is not specified it was said in such a manner that it would suggest Chuck and Sarah.

Go to chucktv.net and see the thread about Season 3 spoilers. You’ll see that that fans (US) are making it quite clear that if the Chuck and Sarah thing doesn’t move forward in Season 3, the fanbase is going to be very P.O’d. They can’t possibly keep doing the back and forth, we can – we can’t thing like Seasons 1 & 2. That’s not character development – it’s character stagnation. And what stagnates eventually eventually reeks so bad that it makes you want to vomit! They can’t afford to have that in Season 3 and if they listen to the die-hard fans who helped save the show, they won’t. There’s an old saying, “Give the people what they want!” The CHUCK fans have given, and given, and given to this show. If the Josh and Chris don’t start giving us SOMETHING of what we want regarding Chuck and Sarah in Season 3 (it’s not like we’re asking for another wedding next season!), then things aren’t going to be pretty! The time for “teasing” is over!! A new love interest is fine – as long as it doesn’t involve CHUCK and SARAH!!

As usual I agree 100% with Rick. On one of my posts I did suggest two possible ways they could slow their relationship down without pissing off the fan base,(atleast in my opinion) while also moving it forward. The 1st thought is that being that there is no surveillance in Sarah’s apartment, perhaps the cameras should end in the hallway with Chuck and Sarah walking into the apt and the door closing. Essentially a secret relationship that even we don’t see, but know exists. The fans will want to get through the closed door,so the storyline continue without reversing or stagnating the relationship.The 2nd thought is if they have Sarah and Chuck living together as part of the cover, General Beckman might realising that it will be hard to keep them apart, might okay a relationship but only when it considered safe depending on the then current mission of that episode.She could tell Casey that it will be up to him to decide as to whether it is safe for Chuck and Sarah to be together. This could bring lots of comical friction? How would Casey keep them apart? Just install want of those retractable shower heads over their bed. Like the one he used in Chuck Versus The First Date to wash off the poisonous powder. Casey would of course probably get carried away and use it a lot. Which would piss off Chuck and Sarah and in turn they would find ways to piss Casey off to get even. I was thinking maybe a Bill Murray’s Meatball solution by suspending Casey’s bed in the air. I guess Chuck would have to tranq Casey again to accomplish this. In any case this would add a lot of comical avenues to the show. It would slow down their relationship in a funny way, without sending it into reverse or stagnating the relationship.

I hav to agree with Halley and Rick having their relationship aleast moving foward but at the same time adding a twist with Casey disrupting their relationship from time to time will add some new comical scenes without ending up into the same situation throughout the pervious season.

If they come back and revert to Sarah saying NO to Chuck about a relationship, it’ll be like those old Movie serials (Rick is probably the only one that will know what I’m talking about) where at the end of one episode they’d have the hero go over a cliff in a car or something…certain death….then at the beginning of the next episode they show the same sequence but with the hero jumping out of the car at the last minute, when he clearly hadn’t done the last time you saw the sequence. (I’m not old enough to have watched them but old enough to know about them

Anyway. No respect from me if they try to move the relationship backwards.

MARCH!!!! Of 2010!!! No0o0o0 that’s TOO long! I want my Chuck =’(. Well, at least there is a third season, thank god. About the whole romance thing, there should NOT be another love triangle! We’ve had far too many already, and they’ve been on and off the whole time that they really should start going somewhere with it. On another note, i’m surprised that that huge cliff hanger was barely talked about on this thread. I am so looking forward to the new action scenes (I’ve been waiting forever for Chuck to finaally kick butt!) and now it’s finally gonna come true (I hope. I’m not a die-hard fan for the romance, if they don’t include comedy or action i will be seriously upset). I also hope that the huge cut backs on Chuck won’t hold the show back, i.e. the fact that it’s half as long as the 2nd season, budgets are cut, a main character will be cut (Anna Wu?), the time for the other characters (Jeffster?, Awesome?, Ellie?, MORGAN??!??) will be cut, as well as two major script writers………But despite the cuts and the wait, i really truly am looking forward to it. P.S. The wait not actually be that long, they said that if things run smoothly, we might be seeing Chuck sooner, and as a bonus, so that the fans won’t lose interest, they might have a web mini-series online!!! YAY! GO CHUCK! WHOOT!

I know that fans have given a lot to save chuck. But pushing the producers to “force” the things between chuck and sara will be like putting down the show. I think that the best thing to do is hope that the authors will be as greatest as season 1 and 2 and give us whatever they have in mind. There’s another old saying: “Let it be”. Don’t cut the imagination of the producers, dont kill the show. After all, Larkin is dead, he has no competition now, he has free passage to be eith sarah. Casey can’t put him down, and i bet that he isn’t going to stay in the damn car now.

I’m wondering how he can be cool again, chuck was awesome because he couldn’t fight and only had THE MORGAN to face the enemies, now he can kill a fulcrum agent 8 times while he’s falling. Will morgan stay in burbank? Will jeffster sing again?

They have to keep some element of suspense in the relationship. Not “should,” they have to. It’s a critical element, and there is no fun in just having it all out there. The “honeymoon” is over too quickly, and viewers are too quick to move on once they get what they want.

The show needs some new angles, absolutely. New challenges, without completely and continuously raising the stakes. Not just in the romance, but that’s a big part of it. It needs new barriers to the relationship, but maybe no longer Sarah’s hesitation or a resurrected Bryce or Jill or whoever – yeah, those are getting old. Season 1 was powerful, when it looked like they were going to close the deal and Bryce came back, pushing the relationship back to just friends. It reset the anticipation, and yeah it was frustrating, but only enough to keep us interested, and they did restore it, gradually. It made Ep. 13 that much more compelling when Sarah was prepared to take down a CIA agent to spare Chuck from being dragged off to Washington.

If I were the writers, I’d reverse the romance dilemma and add a new character that changes the stakes. Perhaps we’ll see a former Fulcrum agent, who might be a double agent, who might have his or her own agenda, who can come in for several episodes, raise a bunch of questions, finally make you like him or her, and then die off in ep13 in a way that could end the season OR set it up for a bigger finale if NBC opts in for the extra 9 episodes. Meanwhile, Chuck and Sarah can admit their feelings to each other but ONLY to each other for professional (or more complicated) reasons – so they now have to pretend to be disinterested in each other professionally while pretending to have a relationship as part of their cover. It keeps a necessary distance while opening up new plot opportunities involving their attempts to now nurture a relationship under very, very difficult conditions.

The moment Sarah and Chuck can be together without compromise, the show is done. That’s something they need to save for the very, very end.

Over here on Gold Coast Australia just up the coast from where yvonne strahovski is from. They have just finished showing Chuck season 2 on FOX 8. It got to the best TV show ever. But of they want to keep the die hard fan here in Australia, Sarah and chuck relationship be start moving forward. Season 3 is going to be great.
